Aaron Eastman is a current senior in the Central Washington University Mechanical Engineering Technology program. He has come to be an experienced 3 dimensional drafter with multiple years experience of Solidworks and knowledge of the use of Inventor. Has developed plans to increase the time efficiency and precision of manufacturing with the use of computer aided manufacturing. Aaron has also developed the skills to manage many engineering projects, some include: Carbon Fiber Delamination System, CWU hard surfaces map update, and an Eagle Scout Project with over 450 volunteer hours. The opportunity to work on a carbon fiber recycling system has allowed him to bring a more sustainable option to the life cycle of Boeing wing trimmings. From his experience working on the Delamination System, paired with the positions as a Design Engineer intern and a CAD Technician he has decided to pursue a career as a Design Engineer in the aviation field.

After graduating in June of 2022 with a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Aaron has accepted an offer to be an Equipment and Tool Design Engineer at Boeing. He has his eyes set at becoming a project manager at Boeing, helping lead the engineers of today design the technology of tomorrow. To assist in these plans Aaron will be pursuing a Masters in Business Administration after his career in engineering has taken off.
